Our Community Deserves Better

I’m deeply concerned about the current state of our Sheriff’s Office. Recent reports of deputy misconduct, including inappropriate behavior, are unacceptable.

Furthermore, I’ve personally witnessed unprofessional interactions and disrespectful treatment of our citizens by some deputies. These issues, coupled with questions surrounding budget management and personnel practices, demand strong leadership and a commitment to change.

Transparency

At the heart of my leadership philosophy lies a commitment to genuine transparency. I believe in building trust through unwavering honesty, sharing information openly and proactively, and taking full accountability for my office’s actions. We won’t just talk about integrity; we will live it, striving to earn your trust through consistent reliability and fairness. I understand the complexities of the Sheriff’s office, so I will provide realistic assessments, balancing optimism with pragmatism.

I will prioritize clear, jargon-free communication, ensuring you’re always informed. My office will own our mistakes and celebrate our successes, fostering a culture where open dialogue and diverse perspectives are not just welcomed, but actively encouraged. My goal is to forge lasting relationships within the county built on a foundation of truth, openness, and unwavering trustworthiness.
